Puja Gupta was the winner of Miss India Universe in 2007. She later went to Mexico and represented India in Miss Universe 2007 and placed in the top ten finishing in 9th place. In the 2007 Miss Universe Contest, Puja was among the few Indian beauties to place in the top ten.
