Chennai Super Kings - Champions of IPL 2010
MS Dhoni's IPL team Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2010) final. The Chennai Super Kings have been the only team in the Indian Premier League to make it to the semi-finals in all three seasons. The Super Kings have some big hitters and all-rounders in their side, and this makes them one of the most formidable side of the IPL. Many call their bowling a weak link, but nobody can win every time just with the willow.
It was Chennai Super Kings second IPL final. It was the second time they were experiencing the big occasion. Chennai skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni called correctly at the toss and opted to bat first.
The Indian batsman Suresh Raina struck 57 not out from just 35 balls as Dhoni's men racked up 168 for five from their 20 overs and while Mumbai skipper Sachin Tendulkar struck a defiant 48 in his side's reply, he could not prevent them slipping to a 22-run defeat.
