OWC has launched its new SSDs with Mercury to its On-The-Go Pro portable SSDs lineup.These drives are in the capacities of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB SSD.These drives can transfer data at a speed up to 100MBps.The drives are 2.5-inch in size and offer 64MB data cache.As with most SSDs, the lack of moving parts makes them more shock resistant, power efficient and quieter than rotating hard drives, as well as being more tolerant to temperature extremes.These drives come with Carbon Copy Cloner, ProSoft Engineering, Data Backup 3, NovaStor NovaBACKUP and Intech SpeedTools Utilities.The 64GB model has a price of US $280, 128GB model at US $450 and 256GB model is at a price of US $730.The drives are available now.
