ONCE WHEN I WAS A KID,
I chased butterflies,
And now difficulties chase me,
I played joyfully,
And now life plays with me,
I slept peacefully,
And now sleep seems out of reach,
I ran from responsibilities
And now responsibilities burden me,
I studied rarely,
And now studies haunt me,
I cried for little things,
And now little things make me cry,
I was full of immaturity,
And now maturity consumes me,
Every little joke made me laugh,
And now, laughing seems difficult even on bigger jokes,
Life appeared to be a fantasy,
And now the reality of life has been revealed,
My only wish was to grow big and independent,
And now I only wish I could go back in time and repeat the story of being a KID
ONCE WHEN I WAS A KID !
