Nikon has recently announced its latest digital camera to Coolpix lineup.The new model is named as Nikon Coolpix S8000, a stylish and slim camera.Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera has 3-inch TFT LCD display, HDMI output, 32MB of integrated memory and a SD/SDHC memory card slot.Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera has 14.2 megapixel CCD sensor with resolution of 4320 x 3240pixels and it is able to record 720p HD video at 30fps.Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera comes equipped with a NIKKOR lens with a 10x optical zoom and wide-angle 30mm (35mm format equivalent).Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera is just 27mm thick, width is 103mm and height is 57mm.Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera also features Lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function, high-performance processor and EXPEED Creative Slider system, which allows performing pre-processing of images in the camera.Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera will be available by this month at a price of 300 EUR.

I like nearly all of it, I wonder why Nikon decided to go with a retractable flash feature. I don't see any benefit for the consumer on that. In fact, I only think that this feature would raise the camera's price unnecessarily. :-\
