Last year Nikon Coolpix S1000pj surprised everyone with the first compact camera with built-in projector, this year the Japanese house is repeated with the Coolpix S1100pj, which brings some improvements to the previous model.
The pico projector reaches a brightness of 14 lumens, 40% more than the S1000pj, with a maximum of 47 inches diagonal at a distance of two meters and can be used not only to see the images taken and stored in the camera, but through a simple USB connection, can project whatever appears on a computer screen.
Another new feature is the 3-inch touchscreen LCD with 460,000 pixels that enables you to activate advanced features like the ability to write or draw on real-time images projected. With regard to the optical part S1100pj adopting a 14.1-megapixel sensor with a 5x zoom Nikkor lens (28 – 140 mm), VR 5-way sensitivity up to ISO 6400.
The list price of the Nikon Coolpix S1100pj is $ 349, about 270 € plus taxes.
