My wonderful black brothers,
why are you killing each other?
What is the point?
Is it worth dying over some money or a joint?




My wonderful black brothers,
you are becoming depleted.
Half of you are in a grave,
and most are incarcerated.




Stop blaming soceity
for everything that has gone wrong with you.
Look at the person in the mirror,
he holds the blame, too.




My wonderful black brothers,
there is so much you can do.
You could be anything,
You put your mind to.




You don't have to lie, cheat,
murder or steal to have the best things in life.
Just work hard and keep the faith
and everything will be alright.




My wonderful black brothers,
be proud of who you are.
Hold your head up high.
You are a glorious shining star.
