Mouse Box - Full Computer Setup Inside A Mouse
A Polish software engineer has created the ultimate compact PC, it's the compact enough to fit in a standard mouse. Meet the Mouse Box. The device doesn't look any different from your normal mouse, but on the inside is the guts of a fully working PC.
It contains a 1.4GHz ARM Cortex processor, 128 GB of flash storage, WiFi connectivity and of course a micro HDMI connection so that you can output the computer's display. There's also 2x USB 3.0 ports, an optional battery, accelerometer and gyroscope.
Mouse-Box uses the power of a mouse and charges wirelessly using an inductive charging mat that doubles up as a mouse pad. This means the device would never run out of battery. However, the hardware also includes space for an optional battery.
The HDMI port is the key part of the device that will help users connect the Mouse-Box to a nearby monitor. The device could theoretically be loaded up with any operating system of your choice. The Mouse-Box is currently at working prototype stage. The team of software developers of the prototype are now seeking commercial partners to help them bring it to market.
