
Ingredients
1 8-inch cucumber
1 cup (250 mL) water
1/4 cup (50 mL) white vinegar
1/4 cup (50 mL) granulated sugar
1/4 tsp (1 mL) mustard seeds
1/4 tsp (1 mL) celery seeds

Preparation:
Peel and slice cucumber thinly; place in bowl. In saucepan, bring water,
vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed and celery seed to boil, stirring to
dissolve sugar; pour over cucumber. Let cool. Cover and refrigerate
overnight. Strain before serving.
