Kicherer Mercedes-Benz SL 63 EVO 2008: In the KICHERER version, the sporty naturally aspirated engine benefits from a performance increased by about 40 hp and 40 Nm. Thus equipped, the KICHERER SL 63 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h.
At the same time, the EVO sports exhaust system eroticses its environment with a deeply saturated and thudding sound – without being so obtrusive as to get on the drivers nerves after a while. Combined with the electronic chassis optimization, the ultra-light 20“ RS-1 aluminum wheels guarantee a perfect grip in any driving situation.
A diffuser made of genuine carbon calms the storms that rage at the KICHERER SL’s rear end at high speeds and provides the coupe-convertible with a significantly optimized down force. Further aerodynamic subtleties are brought about by the front apron coverings which are also made of carbon. The carbon mirror shells, however, are telling visual expressions of the roadster’s new sportiness.
