HP's new Omni PCs share design IDs and are built into similar chassis to the TouchSmart line. The new Omni27 essentially looks like an upsized HP TouchSmart 520. Both systems have similar silver colored bases, hinged arms supporting the screen, with the PC components built into that screen. Since the screen doesn't need to have infrared sensors like the TouchSmart 520, the Omni27 has a seamless screen that is essentially a single pane of glass. This neatens up the lines of the all in one chassis: the screen is a little recessed on the TouchSmart 520 in order to accommodate the touch sensors. The Omni27 has options that make it more attractive to the consumer: Blu-ray, Beats Audio, TV Tuner, and HDMI-in are entertainment enhancers.
