Giant Pet Rodent
Some people have dogs, some have cats and then there are some that have a 112-pound rodent for a pet. Melanie Typaldos, 57 and her husband Richard Loveman, 54, share their home in Buda, Texas, with a giant capybara named Gary. The semi-aquatic mammal is the world’s largest rodent.
Ms Typaldos adopted the capybara from an owner who was no longer able to care for him, and said the cuddly 112-pound creature quickly became a part of the family.
