Energizer Energy 500 Super Rugged Smartphone
Battery manufacturer Energizer introduced it's debut series of feature phone and smartphone at CES 2015 Las Vegas. The Energizer Energy 500 is the main product which is durable smartphone, this military design smartphone is dust and waterproof, enough to satisfy IP68 standards. The handset has a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek CPU, a 13-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The 500 has a 3,000mAh battery that Energizer reps say last twice as long as the Apple iPhone 6.
It runs with Android 4.4 KitKat, an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop is planned. Energizer will also introduce Windows Phone and smartphone with Firefox OS. From April, the devices will come gradually in different countries in the trade with the expected price of 249 euros.
