UPEK has introduced a new technology to the market by introducing UPEK EikonTouch USB Fingerprint Scanner that includes two models.The first one is UPEK EikonTouch 700 and the second one is UPEK EikonTouch 300.Both the models utilize the company's one-touch, placement sensors to deliver highly-accurate fingerprint authentication, compliance with government standards, and a very simple and friendly user experience.The former is designed for government applications requiring FIPS 201 certified image quality as well as for multi-user applications where high biometric performance and easy usability are both critical, while the latter gets SteelCoat protective coating and is designed for rugged environments and for cost sensitive applications requiring one-touch authentication.
