Clark Little - The Phenomenal Waves Catcher

His photographs have been mesmerizing the world since 2007, with captivating photos taken inside waves as well as stunning angles usually only seen by hard core surfers.

Clark Little grew up on the North Shore of Oahu and made his name as the pioneer of surfing the Waimea Bay shorebreak. Clark had a unique talent for taking off on hopeless crunchers, getting launched and surviving in perhaps the nastiest shorebreak in the world.

Clark has captured images like none other, with a keen eye for that perfect barrel, backwash, or reef shot. He has expanded his repertoire to include not only crushing pits, but also crystal waves that resemble hand-blown glass and picturesque island moments that reflect the awe-inspiring splendor of the Hawaiian Islands.

‘I try to capture the beauty of these monstrous waves from the inside out,’ said the father of two, ‘I’m always in the water before dawn to try to snap that perfect picture as the sun rises.’

These stunning images below capture the power and glory of waves as they are about to crash down onto the shore.
