Being the world's most populated country, China it is also one of the most polluting countries. Many investments have been done in the past couple of years addressing the need for more environmentally friendly technologies. Their most recent achievement is this tram created by the company Sifang, considered to be the World's First Hydrogen Powered Tram.

It's first model was built in Qiangdao, 650 kilometers from Beijing. With this new product, China became the first country in the world to master the hydrogen technology in a tram, though it has been tested before in cars and other vehicles. The tram can be refueled with hydrogen in three minutes and can travel 100 km at a speed of up to 70 km/h. Each vehicle has more than 60 seats and can carry over 380 passengers.
