BMW 6 Series Coupe Concept Car Wallpapers 2011
BMW has announced it will unveil the concept for its new 6 Series coupé at the 2010 Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris Oct. 12 – 17.From the look of preview photos, the new coupe still retains some classic hallmarks of the standard BMW coupé (stretched hood, short front overhang, passenger compartment set well in the rear, a low silhouette with a swooped roofline), but the new car has a lower silhouette and a tighter rear end, both of which give it an even sportier look.
All the bodywork lines are continuous and uninterrupted throughout their entire length. It’s meant to evoke the wave motion on the surface of an ocean–the ebb and flow of wind and tides, according to BMW.
BMW says the 2+2-seater will have full-LED, adaptive headlights and a newly designed, freestanding control display for the iDrive operating system. It has a full-glass roof, Bang & Olufsen sound and the driver-oriented cockpit (instrument panel, electronics) so loved by BMW enthusiasts.
