Averatec N1200 New Ultra-Slim Netbook
South Korea Averatec presented at CeBIT 2010 a new netbook, the N1200, announced as the thinnest and lightest 10 inches between the models currently on the market.
Specifications are those of an entry-level a few months ago with an Intel Atom N450, 1GB of RAM (but can be up to 2 GB), 160 GB hard drive, wi-fi and webcam; 3 hours battery life seem to be very competitive, given the actual performance of other netbooks on the market (my Asus Eee PC 1005HA has an effective duration of more than 6 hours). Operating system: Windows XP or Windows 7 Starter.

Interesting aspects of this new netbook would appear to be the design and weight: 995 grams, including battery, it actually denote as a portable light, the thickness below 2 cm does not seem to get justice from the images, where in reality The design is attractive only when the netbook is closed.

By finishing in black or gray, the Averatec N1200 will be available from late March at a starting price of 329 dollars (about 242 euro exchange rate).
