Pocket Hercules by his friends Aditya “Romeo” Dev of Phagwara, India, is a little person who is only 2 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs not even 20 pounds who is deemed the world’s smallest body builder.The pint-sized weight lifter is famous around India and a great source of pride to his parents. for his ability to lift 1.5kg dumbbells - despite his overall 9kg body weight.
Unlike many dwarfs, Romeo is well proportioned, with a head circumference of 15in and a chest measurement of 20in.
In 2006, after months of intense exercise, the Guinness Book of World Records named Dev the smallest bodybuilder on the planet. In addition to his bodybuilding, Dev is also training to be a dancer

Romeo says: “I’ve been training as a bodybuilder for the last two years and by now I think I must be the strongest dwarf in the world.
I have always been fit but since I started working out, I have become famous for my strength. His trainer Ranjeet Pal spents hours helping his 19-year-old protege build his small muscles to perfection.
“Because of his small size, I don’t assign him hard exercises. But Romeo trains more or less the same as anyone else and he’s much more determined”.
“When he first started, I insisted he did a month of basic exercises like aerobics, push-ups and basic gymnastics to prepare his body. “
“I’ve been training as a bodybuilder for the last two years, and by now I think I must be the strongest dwarf in the world,” “My size has never stopped me.”
Unlike most little people, Dev’s body is well proportioned, He has never been bothered at being so small. He has no inferiority complex. He is the jewel of our family,” reckons his father.
