Acer India has announced the launch of the Ferrari 1100 notebook. In keeping with the Italian race car brand, the theme of this notebook is no less different as it features crisp racing lines, luminescent dashboard lights and space-age carbon-fiber.

The Acer Ferrari 1100 features a 12.1-inch screen. This sleek notebook offers a futuristic, convenient option for people who are always on the move, especially fans of the graceful Ferarri race cars.

The Acer Ferrari 1100 notebook is powered by the latest TL 60 processor and is based on AMDâ€™s 64-bit microprocessor technology. It is equipped with an AMD Turion processor.

This powerhouse of a notebook also offers a host of communication features offering speedy connections and VVoIP technologies offering users face-to-face interactions just about anytime and at any place.

This laptop also comes pre-loaded with Windows Vista Business. Other features include 2GB of DDR2 memory, multi-format 5-in-1 memory card reader, 3 USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire (1394 IEEE) port, S-video (TV-output) port and a built-in DVD writer.

Connectivity features include integrated Bluetooth support, wireless LAN, RJ 45 Ethernet and 56Kbps ITU V.92 modem fixed-line connections.

Also bundled with the Acer Ferrari 1100 notebook is a bio-protection fingerprint reader, offering users an enhanced level of security.

The launch of the Acer Ferrari 1100 laptop is being done exclusively via home solutions stores such as Ezone/Home Town. Initially, the notebook will be available in Mumbai and Bangalore, for a price of Rs.79,999.
